HOMETRUTHS is an independent community based, not-for-profit organisation that provides specialist services to anyone from the age of 16 who is, or has experienced domestic violence and abuse from partners, ex-partners or family members, living in Swindon and Wiltshire, including stalking & harassment. We work only with survivors of domestic abuse, we do not work with perpetrators.

In Swindon & Wiltshire, 4,231 incidents of domestic abuse were reported to the Police in the 12 months between April 2011 and March 2012.
On average 2,500 incidents of domestic abuse are reported in Swindon alone each year. It is nationally recognised only 20% of incidents are reported so over 11,000 further incidents go unreported every year.
HOMETRUTHS provides specialist, dedicated services to individuals; works with and provides training and consultancy to partner agencies & professionals, and raises the awareness and understanding of domestic abuse to bring about change within Swindon, Wiltshire and the South West.
